Q.
  I need to replace my dogs’ 1-800-LostDog ID Tag.
      How can I do that?


A.  Click Member Login on the front page, enter your email and password to Login
      and then click “Buy a Tag Online”  or under Order Tag(s) click the  icon.

Q.  My dog has become lost and is wearing his/her 1-800-LostDog ID Tag.
      What should I do?


A.   The 1-800-LostDog Tag is always ready to help get your dog home.
       Anyone finding your dog reads “Call 1-800-LostDog” on the tag. We take the call,
       ask for the pet ID # on your dogs’ tag and immediately call you with the finders’
        information.


       We always suggest that you Login to your account own menu and Report your Lost
        Dog, Print Lost Dog Flyers
and verify that all your contact information current so
        we can quickly reach you. To check your information, simply click Edit My
        Information
to review and edit any information.


Q.   I want to update my information. How can I do that?

 A.  Click Member Login from the front page, enter your email address and password to login.
       Then click Edit My Information to review or make any changes.

Q.   I want to add or update information on my dog. How can I do that?

 A.  Click Member Login from the front page, enter your email address and password to login.
       Then, under Dog Info click the   icon to review or make any changes.



 Q.   I want to add or change my dogs’ veterinarian information. How can I do that?

  A.    Click Member Login from the front page, enter your email address and password to login.
        Then, under Vet Info click the  icon to review or make any changes.

 Q.   I want to add or change pictures of my dog. How can I do that?

 
A.    Click Member Login from the front page, enter your email address and password to login.
        Then, under Pics click the  icon to review or add pictures.


Q.   I want to add or change pictures of my dog. How can I do that?

        Then, under Pics click the  icon to review or add pictures.


Q.
   My pets’ 1-800-LostDog Tag has become lost or damaged and I need to get a new one.
       How can I do that?

A.    Click Member Login from the front page, enter your email address and password to login.
       Then, click Report your Lost or Damaged Tag. If you need to know the tag number you can
       first click Show Tags to get the tag number to report as lost. Then click Buy a Tag Online 
      
or, under Order Tag(s) click the  icon order your tag.

 

Q.
   I want to see the tag number(s) that is registered to my dog. How can I do that?

A.   Click Member Login from the front page, enter your email address and password to login.
       Then, under ID # click Show Tags to get the ID tag number(s) for your dog.


Q.
   I have more than one collar for my dog and would like to have a tag for each collar.
        Can I have more than one tag registered to my dog?

 
A.   Yes, you can order more than one tag for your dog. Each tag will have a unique ID # and
        each tag will be registered to identify your dog. You can always Login to your account
        and click Show Tags to see what tags #’s are registered to your dog.
 

Q.  I have more than one dog registered in my account. How can I see their profiles?

A    Click Member Login from the front page, enter your email address and password to login.
       All the pets in your account will be visible right there in your account menu.



Q.   My dog was lost, found and is back home safe and sound. I had Reported My Dog as
       Lost in my account. How can I change the Lost status of my dog to show Home.

 
A.    Click Member Login from the front page, enter your email address and password to login.
       Under Status where it reads Lost, click on Lost to change the status to Home.



Q.   I have a New Tag and I want to register to my dog. How can I do that?

A.   From our front page, Look for Already have a New Tag - Register it here and click GO



Q.    I need a new 1-800-LostDog replacement ID tag for my right away.  Please help!

A.    On the bottom of our front page, click Find a Retailer. Locate a retailer in your area
        and call ahead to verify their hours of operation and that they have our tags is stock.
        Purchase the tag and go to www.1800lostdog.org. Then click Already have a New Tag -
        Register  it
here, login to your account and enter your new tag number when prompted.
        Within minutes the new tag will be registered and you can put the tag on your dog right away!

         If you cannot find a retailer nearby and would like a new tag sent out by next day air,
         Call Steve at 1-800-567-8228 and he can expedite your order and send your tag.
         You will simply pay the price of the tag and the cost for the expedited sending of the tag.


Q.    My dog has passed away. How can I remove my dog from my account?

A.    We are always sad to hear about the loss of any of our pet members.
        Click Member Login from the front page, enter your email address and password to login.
       Then under Remove My Dog click “Passed Away” to remove your dog.


Q.    I was unable to keep my dog and have adopted my dog to a new family.
        Is the Membership transferable to the new owner? What should I do?

A.    If you adopt your dog to a new family, we can transfer the membership the new owner.
       Click Member Login from the front page; enter your email address and password to login.
       Under Remove My Dog, click “was adopted” and use the form to report the transfer of
       ownership.

Q.    How safe is my Information.

A.    www.1800lostdog.org uses a secure server SSL that makes sure your information is completely safe.
       We also have a company called Web Trust that certifies our site as being safe to use.

      Under Remove My Dog, click “was adopted” and use the form to report the transfer of
      ownership.
